I’ve led recruitment teams in healthcare for over 12 years, working with over 200 NHS trusts and healthcare organisations.

I started Migrate to be an early adopter to the growing digital revolution within the sector, and to help solve the increased challenges for overseas qualified healthcare staff migrating to the UK.

Somebody once said smart people make complicated things simple, and it’s a privilege to lead such an intelligent, diverse team who share common values.

Our mission is to redefine how employers and international talent meet, by putting the community and the individual at the centre of everything we do. Through robust data, simple digital tools, and human connections, we’re pulling back the curtain on professional migration.

In my spare time I enjoy adventures with my family and world music.

I'm passionate about using technology to make life easier for people. Now at my second healthcare-related startup, I seem to have inadvertently acquired a career niche that fits well with that aim! At Migrate, we strive to create delightful and functional solutions to challenges faced by workers moving somewhere new and employers needing those individuals on their teams.

When I'm not at work, I can be found procrastinating intensely from my side hustle of becoming a jazz pianist.

I previously worked for five years as an English teacher in Spain, before converting my passion for programming and educational technology into a fully-fledged career in software engineering.

Having migrated and worked in a foreign country myself, I’m so excited to now be part of a team that’s dedicated to designing and building a platform to bring like-minded migrators together and supporting them on their journey. I have a particular interest in software architectural patterns and testing, so I’m always striving to apply what I learn to produce the most robust and extensible software possible at Migrate.

When I’m not writing code, I dedicate my free time to language learning, music and travel. I love meeting new people and exploring new places – there’s always so much to learn and discover!

As a Software Engineer at Migrate, I specialise in building the 'front-end' of our apps - how the end products will look and feel to our users. I've been a developer for nine years and I'm passionate about writing code and building great products, particularly when they can make a positive change in the world as in the case of Migrate.

Outside of work, I love music and play guitar in a band, I love socialising in the pub with friends and am a keen runner!

Experiencing and living in different cultures expands your mind, providing perspectives you never would’ve had, had you stayed in one place. Being a dual-national I was lucky to experience different cultures however my wife - who is an American - is going through the spousal visa process in the UK; something I never had to deal with. I can see that the process to living in a different country has become increasingly difficult. After experiencing this process first-hand, I know that the work that Migrate does softens this difficult visa stage for so many; it’s something I’m proud to be part of.

As Partnership Manager, I quality-check features, tools, and resources for both applicants and employers and guarantee a smooth path for every relocation journey. Building relationships with services - both national and overseas - is key to ensuring this path is as seamless as possible for everybody.

I used to have a lot of hobbies, however now that I’m a father to a four and six-year-old, my weekends involve playing with Lego, reading, drawing, visiting family and playing board games, which I must say are the best hobbies I’ve ever had!

In the last 10 years, I’ve worked in a variety of marketing and communications roles, including at urban health foundation Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, where I supported communications campaigns that are reshaping inner-city health in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. More recently I worked at the membership site The Joy Club, where I created and curated content to bring joy to their active, retired online community.

As the Community Manager at Migrate, I’m passionate about creating consistent, valuable and engaging content for our international audiences, whilst building and nurturing relationships with its diverse online communities.

Outside of work I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors with my husband and son – including trips to the beach, local parks, and long walks.

I’ve worked in digital marketing for over 10 years, and have experience in email marketing and SEO, with a strong focus on digital advertising. I thoroughly enjoy the research involved in digital marketing, right through to the conception of ideas and the analysis of data for insights and new business decisions.

Outside of work I’m an avid amateur photographer who enjoys landscapes, seascapes and abstract photography.

My favourite movie of all time is ‘The Burbs’ with Tom Hanks.

As a Resource Specialist, I source candidates from different jobs boards and social channels. I also verify applicants’ documents that are uploaded onto the Migrate platform and keep in touch with those applying for our roles.

I really enjoy working as part of the Migrate team! I’m based in India, and I find the e-environment to be very calm and that everyone’s friendly – a close bunch!

In my spare time I play cricket, ride my bike, and watch TV series.

I’m a Recruitment Consultant at Migrate, and so my role involves head-hunting and advertising job openings, and sourcing, lining up, following up and screening applicants.

I really enjoy identifying and approaching potential applicants for our jobs and supporting them at the beginning stages of them finding their dream UK-based health and social care role.

In my personal life I enjoy cooking and often watch programmes where I learn to make new dishes and to try new techniques. At the weekends, you can catch me rummaging around in grocery shops for discounted ingredients!
